I find this very interesting thanks. Would we be able to expand BMD at some later date in a similar fashion or will the footprint of the site mean it isn't possible?

I think they should go to BMD. After a few months most won't be going to Goodison again. It will be flats etc. I think the statues should be at BMD which is were we will be. I believe the present stones are staying so there will be a memorial

It would be absolutely stupid of the club if this happened......so who knows ?

Anyone who thinks it looks like Brightons ground either hasn't been there, hasn't seen a picture of it or has a very poor memory!

Every season ticket holder will get a seat, but there clearly aren't plenty of seats

One other thing......whilst a few people have mentioned they hope fans will stay after the match to drink etc. I know the hospitality is open 3 hours prior to the match and half time , drinks included. After the game is a pay bar. It may well be that most will have got their fill before full time !

No offence taken . It is a discussion on a fans forum. Nothing personal said. I hope you and the modelling are correct .

I think that even if 10k stay behind to drink etc and half turn right and half turn left over 21k will be heading left and 21k right down a fairly narrow road. So yes I see there might be an issue

OK 52k going down that road. Then measure Goodison road and the side roads off, Gwladys St, Bullens Rd and the side roads off, the close proximity of Walton Lane, Priory Rd, County Rd etc. But yes measure wall to wall, there really is no comparison

One lane each way. There is a pavement on both sides. So not much wider

Regent Road will be closed. The point is 50k heading along a road not much wider than Gwladys st

I mentioned a week or so back that I can envisage difficulties in 53k dispersing from BMD due to the very limited road network, and those being single carriageway. That seemed obvious having been to the site and a cursory view of Google maps. I am not negative about moving, I am very excited...

Lots of it. If we aren't even going to try to compete why bother with BMD at all. City & United aren't in the capital city either

And the hospitality at Anfield ?

A big statement. Frankly the decisions the club has made in most areas seems to be dreadful. I'm not sure why anyone would think the stadium would be any different. We don't know let's hope you are right.
