I disagree. In fact, I think that's entirely why they haven't spunked gobs of cash on Flavour of the Month offerings such as the various WC Group Stage heroes many here won't let go of. They had to know the purse strings were connected to binning utter dross like Williams and Bolasie beforehand...

It's gut-wrenching that Everton is hamstrung by not one (Williams) but multiple (Bolasie, Klaassen) contracts on players literally impossible to shift. Clubs in similar straits are widely considered laughingstocks. Shameful that Koeman and Walsh mismanaged the club to this degree...

I've wanted to see Klaassen come good, felt he caught a raw deal from Koeman/Sam but showed class...but a player of his purported calibre should be toying with the lot of a league 2 side. I'm accepting that there is officially nothing there and it's time to move on, sad to say.
