responsible for the last goal for sure, but also throwing everyone up for the corner led to that too. He was also responsible for all the forward passing and the assist for the goal, to ignore all of that for one moment at the end when we're chasing the game is a bit cras

if you think Garner was shocking today, football isn't really for you

not entirely sure how the new manager will somehow bury the chances that we currently create. What I would add is that he needs to sort out how we set up to defend set pieces, feel like every corner is almost like a penalty

but exactly my point, changing Dyche is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, the horrendous finishers will still be there, and we will contnue to massively underperform

totally agree with this in lots of games, but today, what would you have changed before the Soucek goal? We looked like the team that was more likely to score for pretty much the whole of the second half

Except it hasn't been the same story all season. And if you change the manager the players automatically score penalties and take the chances they should be taking? Not entirely sure how that works, Dyche doesn't take the penalties

definitely an awful run, but under Lampard and Benitez we never looked like winning games, today we looked like we should have won and their goalkeeper was man of the match

He's not blameless all the time, but today is on the players not taking the numerous chances that we created

they created heaps after we took the lead today, not on Dyche that McNeil doesn't bury that chance, and that Areola has a worldie in goal

cannot believe people are saying sack Dyche? We should have won that game with the number of chances we created, it's on the players

Not sure how many more set pieces we need to concede from before we start to work more on them

Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

A little bit early, but after two for Palace if anyone doesn't fancy the trip down I'll gladly take them off your hands. My current record for games attended this season is played 1, won 1. So quite the incentive.

Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

I tried today in a slightly speculative manner. Don't really fancy the trek up yo ser us get beat and go down. But I'll spare you the positivity. Interestingly I managed to get through a few times. On one occasion I clicked select best seat, or the option where you don't open the block via the...

    VAR

Yeah absolutely, not saying the implementation of its any good. Can see why today's could have been given but not clear and obvious whatsoever, so shouldn't have been disallowed. Umpires call type decision. Or at least let the ref go to the screen. Var meant to only intervene in that manner if...

    VAR

Not seen the other game but the handball law differs depending on whether attacking and defending. If a handball directly influences a goal, its ruled out no matter how intentional/unintentional. Whereas if defending, it needs to be kind of deliberat and or in an unnatural position.

    Permission to be positive?

What if we draw then beat spurs the week after?

    Permission to be positive?

honestly some of the stuff I've seen on twitter etc... after today, one such shout was, 'if southampton and bournemouth win their games in hand we're bottom.' How about thinking, Spurs lost at Wolves yesterday and Sheffield United in midweek, we've got them at home in a couple of weeks, we could...
