Just look at what happened with Konoplyanka. His boss refused to sign the Liverpool transfer and he left on the free with a nice queue of clubs lining up to get him. I believe lots of clubs will be lining up for Yarmolenko as well if he stays in Kyiv for another year and leaves a free agent. So...

From what I heard a year ago, when Yarmolenko and Surkis (Kyiv's boss) were signing a 1 year extension it was agreed upon that Surkis will let Yarmolenko leave for ANY club out of the top 5 in their league (Italy/England/Germany/Spain) no matter the money offered, pretty much. Everton was not...

There's no buyout clause in Yarmo's contract AFAIK. I've heard that being repeated more than once by "people in the know".

Actually, I read (Ukrainian sources) that it's mostly about Everton not being able to pay in 1 payment. So they are haggling over the "layaway" terms as well as future bonuses from the next transfer and performance bonuses (if Yarmo does well in EPL).

This doesn't mean anything. Still enough time left before transfer window closes.
