Have the blues ever brought you to tears?

'86 season right after the cup final. No contest. I was 9 years old and of course we should have aced the league. And of course we scored first in the cup final. and OF COURSE it was those rats who we lost both to. Having to go to school...aged 9... surrounded by them....that was traumatic.

    Our next manager?

This. All day. Winning piss-all for 30 years and then a couple of trophies in a few seasons? Fair trade that. Who cares if he upsets people? He's there to win, not to make friends.

    Our next manager?

His "Me against the world" approach would do for me right now. He's not scared of media and comes out swinging against snide decisions. He'd be boss in press conferences whenever PL corruption comes up. Sick of Everton being too "nice". Reckon he would actually relish getting us more...

    The Dyche Slap

Was it open-handed or closed fist? We need specific details here......Did he get him in a phantom headlock as well? Probably only a mild tap

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

Last night I took room measurements in a property I'm hoping to buy for my Daughter and me..... Right by the Liverpool-Leeds canal and about 5 minutes walk from the new stadium. Had to get a shot from a bedroom window. Shows how immense the stadium is in terms of the nearby tobacco warehouse...

    Our Goodison Photographs

I'd like to see a full exhaustive photo documentation of Goodison. Kind of like how they've preserved the wreck of the Titanic in 3-D. She's a tired old stadium and it's so sad we are likely to see her out without a fancy trophy 🏆 to proudly display in her. But by Christ... She's an...

    Carlo At Everton.

Whether the article is true or not - it was a brief moment of optimism and excitement during an otherwise terminally frustrating and repetitively depressing era for the club. Was overjoyed we got him and devastated when he walked.

    Goodison memories

I went with my (recently sadly passed) Dad and older brother through the 80's. I particularly remember the Luton Championship presentation game in '87.... think it was Paul Wilkinson hobbling around on crutches with his leg in a massive cast? Someone had a birth announced over the PA system at...

Match Thread Everton v Fulham - Match Report & MotM Poll

Huge tie..... hopefully the determined, committed and arrogant work ethic the players have shown - and the energy of a revitalised Goodison - will roar the boys home. Just two games from Wembley - what a massive incentive.

St Rupert's Tower - Everton Brow

It's been like this for weeks. So we can build an incredible kick-ass futuristic stadium but not repair a set of bloody lights on our club logo? Everton that

St Rupert's Tower - Everton Brow

Noticed that the tower lighting system appears to be "on the blink". It keeps flashing intermittently blue and green for some reason. Does anyone know if it's genuinely knackered? Or maybe it's a secret code for something? Anyone fluent in Morse Code? The club having a cryptic dig at the...

Noticeable that the PL flag isn't flying above Goodison right now...... Nice subtle dig that. Hopefully the club has grown a backbone.
