Plus the way we play, Ba would suit us more then Long. I do like Long and wouldn't be unhappy if we signed him but Cahill behind Ba would work well I think.

I'd be well happy if he did sign. With our budget we aren't gonna get much better then Ba. But after reading the sky snippet it would seem Pardew/journo is confident he's heading up there.

I rate Ba, think he's a good player and would be a pretty decent start to our recruiting for next season. LCAB has said Ba's preference is us, so that helps. If he's agreed terms with both clubs there can't be a lot in it. Looks like we'll know pretty soon an all with him returning to the UK to...
