You call him a myth? He's played in his natural position once this season, and ran the show. Have a think lad. I'm not arsed about Raheem in the slightest. You're right, Osman would have been slaughtered for that but it still wouldn't have been his natural position. It's difficult to find space...
Only way he'll ever get sacked is if we go down, which we won't, but we're defo in a relegation battle as long as he's been stubborn and refusing to try something new.
He's bang average and has been for years. Always a liability, has about 1 good game every 7. Makes simple things look difficult, and having a decent World Cup makes him think he's untouchable. Can't stand the bloke.
I think Baines is different to Coleman though, he's a lot more creative and a much better passer. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a proper winger out there but just think Baines is a better option than Naismith or Barkely.
Here's my idea, Garbutt needs to play and we've no natural width on the left and we never have. Stick Baines on the wing, he's clever enough to create from there, he's good on the ball and has got a top left foot. Win win.
I don't think I've ever been more frustrated by an Everton side, it's got the potential to be great but a combination of a few things has set us back. Mainly the manager being a bit of div and picking a load of old men
As long as Sylvain Distin isn't playing, and we play with some wingers, we might, maybe, possibly, play well. Ignore me, i'm talking rubbish. We're [Poor language removed].
A few of the older players worked hard for a contract last season, easy to sub consciously not give 100% when you know you're seeing out the end of your career on a hefty wage (Barry, Osman, Distin, etc)
The current batch of first teamers is far too old, for a man who believes in youth so much how do we have the oldest average age in the league. Ridiculous that Barkley was shoved out wide to accommodate Barry, and as for Distin, good god...
