    Transfer Rumour Malick Fofana

I don't think there is much likelihood of this lad signing, if he does, cool, I'll be delighted and amazed, if he doesn't... I'm ok with it, I've never really believed he'd come here.

Everton 0-3 Bournemouth. Sat July 26th. 9 Pm.

Made them look like Real Madrid in the second half. O'Brien for the third goal and Patterson for the second goal, comedy defending.

    2024/25 Harrison Armstrong

If he keeps his feet on the ground and avoids serious injuries, this lad can have a very good career.

    Z cars theme

It's an old Liverpool folk song about a Liverpool seafarer, 'Johnny Todd'. It will be even more relevant to us in our new home at the docks. It sounds best, in my opinion, when played on the tin whistle. .

He badly needs regular first team football, preferably at championship level, to toughen him up.

    2024/25 Harrison Armstrong

No problem with him staying, provided he is making the match day squad most weeks and getting regular minutes on the pitch. If, however, we strengthen midfield and he is going to be a rarely used player, he needs to go out on a decent loan.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I'm not sure it is doable, he is a good player,no doubt, but, I don't think he is good enough to come in as our highest earner. I imagine that would open a Pandora's box with regard to our senior players salaries, should he come in and break our wage structure. You also have to bear in mind...

We can, at a push, manage with Beto and Barry. In an emergency Ndiaye can fill in up top. Not ideal, but, we've a lot of positions we need to cover before a third choice striker.

    Confirmed Signing Thierno Barry

glad to have this one over the line. From watching his highlight reels on you tube one thing springs to mind, once he has settled in, you play a high line against him at your peril. His pace and strength will play a big part in us being able to play higher up the pitch

Keane is ok if he partners O'Brien or Branthwaite, it's when he has to partner Tarkowski that the problems start. Their combined lack of pace makes the whole defence jittery

It occurs to me, if we sign Fred, his reveal should be him walking into the Finch Farm lobby in his Everton kit, looking into the camera and saying just one word 'right' and then walking out again.

There's our best bit of business this summer, regardless of who else we sign. Made up for both us and the lad.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Coleman lead us out against Brighton and then become a member of the coaching staff.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Best of luck to the lad, he needs a fresh start. Best decision for both player and club.

Where do you stand on Calvert-Lewin leaving?

Big wages, poor fitness record, seems to have lost some of his aggression. I think it's better for all parties if he moves on. I wish him well and hope a change of club is the catalyst he needs to kick on.

The regulations are as clear as mud, for what it's worth though, we had two domestic and three overseas loan players last season.

    Your Everton player stories

Bruce was seeing one of the barmaids in the Strawberry tavern backing the day. His party piece was juggling empty pint glasses. He was a good laugh.
