Steven Naismith facing medical ahead of £8.5m Norwich move/ move completed

Crying out for a Naismith type who can find space in the box with the quality of ball from Del Boy today.

Steven Naismith facing medical ahead of £8.5m Norwich move/ move completed

A third of which have came from one player, if we lose big Rom to injury we will be in trouble. I would gladly give up the Micky Mouse cup to be challenging for top 4, that will take a lot more than just a new keeper. If you are content with scrapping at the bottom end of the table then fair...

Steven Naismith facing medical ahead of £8.5m Norwich move/ move completed

Champagne football with very little substance, we are in the bottom half of the table ffs. A new keeper would enhance us but we don't share enough goals in midfield and we lose sloppy goals, hence our league position. Lets hope buckfast football is the winner this weekend. Lets hope the Naisy...

Steven Naismith facing medical ahead of £8.5m Norwich move/ move completed

You think one decent 7m player will make all the difference, not sure about that tbh. We need 3/4 quality players IMO. Not sure losing a player with a wealth of champions league and international experience is a good thing.

Easily good enough for a mid table premiership side.

    Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Correct, he is settled at the club, where is the incentive to move to norwich? I reckon we will need to give him a percentage of the fee. It appears as if Martinez has tried to sicken him by not including him in the squad but Naismith won't be forced out.

    Steven Naismith

Things change though, Scotland are no longer going to the Euros and personal circumstances have also changed. Staying and fighting for his place might suit him now. Also why would anyone want to go to Norwich from Everton, especially with over 2 years of his contract remaining.

    Steven Naismith

Not yet we don't. The clubs have agreed a fee but Naisy hasn't decided if he is going or is staying to fight for his place. Few other clubs interested as we know.

Must have missed this free flowing football when Naismith is out the side.

    Chelsea v Everton. 11th Feb at 19.45.

Barkley has to learn how to keep possession. That was a great save from Cech.

Lukaku would do well to concentrate on his own game, he has been awfull yet again.

    Naismith 3 year extention

We finished the previous three seasons 6,6 and 7th, that group of players in my opinion over achieved last season. The point I was making was that to break into the top 4 we have to spend big. To compare guys like Naisy to world class players like Hazard is madness.

    Naismith 3 year extention

It's just a bit strange, why would you compare the likes of Hazard with Naisy? You could go through the whole team and 1 or 2 at a push would get in the Chelsea team. If we want to challenge every year for the top 4 then we need to get rid of the majority of the squad and start spending £30...

    Naismith 3 year extention

how exactly is that a well founded opinion? Hazard plays in a team full of quality. You are comparing apples with oranges, the players you have mentioned are all £25+ million, Naisy was a free transfer. The team over achieved last season by mounting a challenge for 4th spot, we need to be realistic.

    Naismith 3 year extention

I take it you know very little of the situation at Rangers when he left. Charles Green made no attempt to contact any of the high earners following liquidation and dragged the players names that left through the mud while at the same time raping the club. Naismith had taken a pay cut and got to...

    Naismith's Barkley Warning

Your logic is difficult to understand, especially when u move the goalposts. So now players who are the best in their position in the country and those who have won major honours can offer advice......as clear as mud. Naisy signs a contract extension? Splendid news, well deserved.

    Naismith's Barkley Warning

Nice deflection, that isn't what I asked. Do you think players like Coleman are well placed to offer advice to our younger lads?

    Naismith's Barkley Warning

He isn't missing the point mate, he is trying to twist a run of the mill interview into a stick to beat naismith with. Yes it's pathetic but he knows exactly what he is doing. @davek how do you measure success though? You obviously don't value naisys medal haul, what about the likes of...

    Naismith's Barkley Warning

Out of interest, is there any part you disagree on? Naismith is a far more experienced player who has played at the top level that probably qualifies him to dish out sound advice to the young lads. Going by your strange logic Roberto will have to pick and choose who he gives advice to based on...
