    Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

I don't think his transfer fee will be high due to his injury record. Still puts in world class performances now and then.

I can see us letting Stones leave in the summer, would you have him back?

Is This the Worst Period in Our History

We've been relegated 11 times in our history and I've seen 5 of them. Only older Evertonions know how crap we used to be, far worse than what you're going though and gave gone through.. Count your blessings the last time you went down was early 50s.

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Branthwaite has alerted several clubs and unless he says he's happy and committed at Everton he'll keep getting tapped up. I see united are constantly sniffing around.

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

We will struggle to give Phillips away due to him wanting similar wages which no club will pay. He reminds me of a much worse version of Jack Rodwell which is probably unfair to compare tbh. Stones is under contract till summer of 2026 so we'll probably keep him but won't further extend his...

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Stones is an elite player or was, but he's forever injured and when he plays he can't get into any sort of form and momentum. No good to us when he's injured.

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Thanks pal. We don't normally do business in January but I think we need to, but we need to make sure we get things right. We definitely don't need the next Kalvin Phillips or another Nunes type though. Speaking of Phillips, how about him(or Stones) being a make weight to us signing...

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Some English players can't handle the fame fortune and constant press harassment, Paul Gascoigne being a prime example. I think Foden will be fine. He likes fishing in his spare time which is good therapy.

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Soon as Rodri got injured I doubted us retaining the title. And our ongoing injury problems and lack of form and confidence means that anything is possible, and that means losing to Everton. 😁

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Huge squad? Sorry but it's a myth, Chelsea have a huge squad we don't. We only have one striker now Alvarez isn't with us. Our form will probably get worse due to our injury situation, players out of form and several looking burned out or suffering from fatigue, particularly Gundogan Walker...

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Losing Rodri is huge and it's having a knock on effect. He was our metronome who made us tick and the glue which made us stick. Foden losing his form is a mystery, hopefully he'll regain it soon. Rico Lewis was great when we were playing well but he's not progressing this season. He's not a RB...

Our biggest bogey team until recent seasons were Everton not spurs. And our injury situation has been worse than yours but that's no excuse for our spineless performance yesterday.

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Losing Rodri is a huge loss but we've had a terrible injury situation this season. Also several players not playing near their best and Gundogan De Bruyne Walker and (to a lesser extent) Silva are past their best. We're not dominating teams like we did and conceding far types oo many silly...

New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I'm old enough to remember your success under Howard Kendall in the mid 80s and I think you'd have been more successful if your neighbours hadn't been drunk and disorderly in Heysel.

I hope moving helps you get back to winning ways and I don't begrudge seeing Everton picking up trophies. Much prefer to see you succesful rather than Liverpool.

Guardiola to be found out in the premier league

No need to be bitter pal, old skool City supporters have suffered down the years far more than Everton have. I've seen 5 relegations in my lifetime, not many Evertonions alive to remember your last relegation. And if we do get relegated we'll still get 45000 plus and sell out all aways.
