Saying that. I had a season ticket with my old man for 3 seasons back in the late 90’s. Maybe I’m looking at the past with rose tinted glasses….but I remember although the crowd was often angry and disappointed….at least it we were vocal!
I go the game on average 4 times a season (always promise more but never happens). It’s mad how different the atmosphere is each time I go.
Goodison can be electric, so I’m seriously gutted when I go and it’s dead. I’m always up for it and get frustrated when the crowd isn’t up for it…but what...
Was the capacity/overall size a factor for UNESCO? Original 60k capacity looked so much better!
Don’t like to moan too much tho….love the design of stadium still
Am I right in thinking the club made many alterations in an attempt to hold on the world heritage status? Such as the height of the stadium.
Wonder if we could scrap these and go back to original.
I’m not open-minded and heaven forbid, I’d say I’m also a forgiving person.
Rafael would be a solid appointment. I believe he’d win over the fans, get the financial backing he’d need, connect well with the squad and is tactically sound.
Getting rid of the car park attached to the standby is a good idea. It was a poor addition in the first place.
I actually like this update.
I still can’t notice the change in height of the roof.
I asked what this was and everyone said ‘errrr it’s a roof...you dumb f***’
’
Finally someone with a real answer.
Thank you. Thank you for believing in me.
See what you mean. I actually think the 52k is a good capacity...and I’m perfectly happy with that number.
it’s just how much better it looked inside with that extra 8k on the original designs...it looked quality! Wish I’d never seen that original seating plan now!
I wondered whether it was to keep options open in regards to expanding facilities. It makes sense.
Sadly I can’t see a way the capacity of the ground could ever be increased with this design.
Still... I’m over the capacity issue. At least I think I am.
