    2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

If we don't sign a right back, then Moyes, his backroom team and the whole recruitment structure should be sacked, then all of them tarred and feathered. There can be no excuses this time, anyone thinking the current fullback situation (left and right hand side) is acceptable is simply not...

Match Thread Everton 2-4 Brentford. Sun Jan 4th. 3pm

Looking at the game today a few things became evident… 1) Grealish without KDH is extremely lessened as a player, he needs somebody else who has similar levels of footballing intelligence. 2) opponents have seen now that without any attempt at going forward from Mykolenko, they just have to...

If it does snow hard and any of it is blown into the stands, there will be quite a few p155ed lads doing the Luge down that upper south stand at half time

    January Transfer Window 2026

The issue with Barry ( and with Beto to a lesser degree) is the amount of times they receive a pass. I don't mean the amount of times the ball comes to them, but the way it does. I see so many times our players effectively volley the ball at colleagues, rather than pass it. Its like they are...

I think its telling, what he said about always talking to Garner about playing further up the field because he can play through balls like the one he scored from.

    2025/26 Dwight McNeil

I never said he was mate, the comparison was him being played in a position that doesnt suit him

I would if they’d let me Dave? ;)

    2025/26 Jake O'Brien

Similar to Branthwaite Curtis, Jakes pace takes a lot of pressure off Tarkowski and allows him to play his natural game more. A very good partnership yesterday, which bodes well for the future!

    2025/26 Merlin Röhl

Danny Rohl is 35, so if Merlin is his lad, he was definitely a shagmonster as a kid ;)

It’s nice to know we have another option to Jimmy Garner backfilling the role.

    Highlight of 2025

First night match at BMD, walking down boundary street and seeing it all lit up in the distance was awe inspiring!

    2025/26 Nathan Patterson

He played like I would if picked to play for Everton. 1) Started off crapping himself thinking “what am I doing here”, then… 2) started running around like a loon because he realised he couldn't get out of playing, then… 3) Started blowing out of his hoop because he has been midnight-snacking...

    2025/26 David Moyes

That is a superb statistic and in a way highlights Moyes strength as much as his weaknesses. When we play away from home, sitting back and trying to hit on the break is acceptable. At home, where the crowd expect a more expansive attacking style, it frustrates. The issue now is, will the club...

    2025/26 Dwight McNeil

Similar to Leon Osman on that he has always suffered from being played on the wing, despite him having zero pace. Like Osman, he always looks more suited to playing in the number 10 role. I am not advocating we keep him, because he has never been consistent enough, but played centrally he still...

Just what I thought too. A proper arl arses display and I was shocked at how strong he is, shrugging them off like he was swatting flies!

Match Thread Notts Forest 0-2 Everton. Tue Dec 30th. 7.30 pm

I thought the lot of them were excellent tonight, Moyes tactics were spot on, the team defended like heroes and when we got a break we flooded forward, all played their hearts out but notable mentions for Tarkowski, Garner, Rohl and Iroegbunam.
