Sad News - Our friend, Roydo

Well, I never knew him, never met him, never even spoke to him on here, yet I feel like I’ve been hit for six by this news. He was clearly a great person, just from the way he talked and cared for his wife Nikki, and from what those who have had the fortune to know him on a personal level, have...

Only Everton could have 5 players injured not even after the 2nd game

They look awful at the back

Fair point, but at the same time, even they’ve gone and brought a striker in who’s more clinical than the players that they’ve got at present. Don’t even get me started on our ball retention though

A team with no striker struggling to pose a threat up top. Colour me shocked. Worst bit about is the few occasions where Villa had to defend, they didn’t look comfortable doing so, but are getting away with it because of our lack of a killer instinct. Iwobi motm so far for me

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

Anyone that's going to walk up that south stand, will be building up some serious leg muscles. Still can't get over how steep it is!

Will definitely go that way, if I can, tomorrow. Failing that, I normally go down that way after the match, so will see it from there soon enough no doubt.

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

Might have a chance to take a look and see for myself tomorrow the actual sheer size of it all that seems to be the consensus from everyone that's been down

    2021/22 Richarlison

Can’t begrudge him for the move and unlike some players we’ve had, didn’t hide in games and was always involved, even when he wasn’t having great games and of course his commitment to the cause towards the end of the season, kept us up.

    PL Fixtures announcement 2022/23 season

Wasn’t that also the game where we had to play in last seasons away kit because all our new kits clashed with Palace’s?

    Our Annual Everton Fan Survey

Did it earlier, but just seen this thread. I can't say the boardroom questions scored well on my end.

    Burnley or Leeds?

Went with Burnley, but really not bothered by who goes down, as they’re both as unattractive as each other in their own ways. Also on the point of needing Burnley taking one of the slots next season, should we (heaven forbid) find ourselves down there again, yeah Leeds might be the one that has...

    2021/22 Salomón Rondón

It's beggars belief that that's how you would ever go in for a tackle, especially in this day and age. The fact that there was a collective sharp intake of breath, from the crowd, when he made that 'challenge' tells you all you need to know about how bad it was

    2021/22 Vitalii Mykolenko

Agree with all of this. The thing that has impressed me with him is how rare it is to see him get done on defending and while there is clear room for improvement from an attacking perspective, it's something that will come in time regardless of what league we're in IMO. On the point of pace, I...

    Relegation

As gutted as I am about last night with missing the chance to put some clear daylight of the bottom 3, we're still in a position where we could be safe by Sunday night and given we were 5 points from safety not even 2 weeks ago. I'd have snatched anyone's arm off, never mind hand, had they...

Match Thread Watford v Everton - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

Definitely getting more nervous as the game draws closer. All the things that are going in our favour going into tonight is where we usually see Everton enter stage right, but let's face it, even with where we are in the table at this stage, we should be confident of 3 points tonight. More of...

Match Thread Leicester City v Everton - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

Can’t remember Mcfadden doing it, although it wouldn’t surprise me. I do remember Naismith away at Burnley after Eto’o’s goal I think it was, where he belted the rebound onto the bar and it hit their keeper on the head

Spirit of The Blues at Leicester today

I really don't know how to put into words how impressive the fans were today and to be honest I don't think anything I could type out would do all of them any justice, but it was just fantastic, watching on a stream and hearing our fans in one corner of the ground collectively out sing 30k...

It's rare to see a standout contender for motm, which Pickford was by a country mile, but then think the rest weren't awful, especially this season
