    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

It’ll be like buying a house, you’re in a chain as the selling party needs to buy and the estate agents is hoping someone else will offer more money to gazump you and your mortgage approval has only just gone through because your credit rating has been abysmal.

I actually got the sack for phoning that, theft for using the company phone without permission ! ( I was a pain in the backside in work and this was their excuse ) It was the day Anders Limpar signed on the then transfer deadline day and I managed to tell him he got me the sack when I met him...

    Confirmed Signing Thierno Barry

Even half of a prime Lukaku would be fantastic, hope the lad settles quickly and is given time to do so.

    2024/25 Jack Harrison

If he is coming here, I’d rather pay a nominal fee for him than waste a loan on him.

    2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

The thing is have we got any talented youngsters? I wouldn’t object at all but they can’t be ready or this wouldn’t happen I’d imagine.

    2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

You 100% keep him as 4th choice if you’re on a budget, What’s the point in potentially missing out on players who you need, due to spending money unnecessarily on another centre half who will hardly play. Dose of the real world I’m afraid.

    Transfer Rumour Kenny Tete

He’s not Cafu like, hardly heard of him on here or anywhere else before we went in for him. Move onto the next.

It’s a nap that if we signed Fellows he’ll be garbage, but if someone else takes a punt on him he’ll be ace.

I can’t stand anyone called Kenny tbh.

    Transfer Rumour Kyle Walker

He was a very good full back, with most of his strengths were pace and the ability to get up and down and cover the centre half's, Once the pace has gone his game is up, which from what I’ve seen it has. His off field shenanigans hasn’t helped him either, no ta from me.

    Big Nev

Those years were dreadful as is your post, He’s up there with the best players we’ve ever had. He didn’t win us games he won us trophies.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

He’s nowhere near any of them, the gist of what I was saying that for a limited player, he’s made a go of it which you can’t knock him for but in an ideal world he wouldn’t be playing upfront for us. The proof of the pudding will be in the future.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

The lad had a go, put some effort into his conditioning and bulked up to play upfront on his todd, playing there for us must be the hardest job in football, to play upfront on your own with very limited support or service is a thankless task, However he wasn’t a natural finisher and when ever...

    Anyone read Duncs book yet?

I’m sick of seeing him and hearing him, Talisman yes, legend no.

    2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

I’d much rather keep him and make him Captain one day, hence the word If, but if it’s got legs we need to get as much as possible. He like everybody else in the squad has got a price.

    2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

Should start a bidding war if it’s got legs, start at £80m any lower offer than that it we should up it by £10m, we first need to source a left footed CB.

Never thought I’d see the day that if the choice was Beto or DCL, it’s Beto.
