    I believe so. He wouldn't have been my first choice either, but chances are whoever comes in isn't going to improve on where Moyes has got us in the league, and worse things could happen than maintaining our 'outperforming the money' position under Allardyce. Reckon we could do a lot worse...

    I'm guessing Allardyce wouldn't be a popular choice, and seems he's not available anyway. But according to the guy who does the Fink Tank stats column in the Times, only 3 managers have consistently 'outperformed the money' in the Prem - Ferguson, Moyes and Allardyce.
