    Our next manager?

Ian Evatt ticks all those boxes albeit at a lower level he had made no secret he wants to manage at a higher level. He’s maybe under the radar at the moment but if he takes Bolton up into the Championship then he will certainly be on it. This was unthinkable even two seasons ago but the options...

    Our next manager?

This is correct. He managed to turn unfancied Barrow into National League Champions. (Albeit in the curtailed Covid season) playing some great football and scoring goals. He then went to Bolton and took a big club out of League 2 at the first attempt. He is now got them battling for promotion...

    Our next manager?

Ian Evatt from Bolton Wanderers. His teams play good football. He is young, ambitious and has had success.

And the ref just turns a blind eye to the rugby tackle on Beto.

What about using some of the seats from the main stand.

Beto was a breath of fresh air and actually wanted the ball and showed the rest of them the spirit and fight needed after that terrible first half.

There’s no leadership on the pitch. They don’t talk to each other. No passion or fight. A terrible first half

Yes it does look like a lot of empty space above the south stand concourse and under the terrace above. Maybe the space is needed for plant / services etc. Would be great though if they could utilise some of the space as an open concourse in future. Or glaze it in.

Just watching the CL final and how far away the fans are from the pitch. One of the top priorities was to have stands as close to the pitch as the regs allow. It’s going to be amazing.

    New Kit

Now we’re talking. Loved the use of amber away socks with the traditional home shirt and white shorts in the late 60’s (69/70?) plainer/simpler kit the better for me. Seen the pics with Ball and Alan Whittle sporting the amber socks and always thought it looked smart. Also the badge/ can we...

Wow- looks great but didn’t give much attention during the season! Great watching the very latest updates. Which sides for the tunnel and the tv / commentary gantry? Thanks. I am a current Main stander so feels like the East stand will be the same orientation as Goodison.

Not gonna lie I was still thinking we’d somehow blow it at 4-1. This is what they’ve done to me. Some outstanding performances out there but every one of them put in a great shift. Well done Blues. Heart rate returning to normal.

    Relegation 2022/23

After yesterday I’ve moved closer from denial phase into acceptance. We were terrible. The game has moved on and we’ve not adjusted to it and learned nothing from last seasons great escape. Last season the fans got the team over the line but it feels different this time around. I don’t know what...

Wow, and three of the new stands will all have back row seating at the same height- I’m glad the new ground wont have a curved roof that lowers the stand size into the corners like many of the newer grounds have.

Well I thought we were great to get back into that and I nearly put my head through the ceiling when Keane scored. Great fighting spirt blues! Keep it going!

    The Championship

Whether we get relegated or somehow manage to avoid it, the whole club needs to modernise. Perhaps relegation is the only way it will change things, that and the new stadium.

Oh well it’s a point that may be crucial. Forest looked most likely to grab the winner.

In fact closer look at the pic there’s walls running from the back of the stands to pitch level splitting up the seating along the lower tiers. I cant think of a reason for doing this other than its a modern stadium feature to prevent too many from gathering in one section in at the end of the game.
