I know right, “cautiously optimistic”, what a naive idealist.

    January Transfer Window 2023

Sorry to inform fellas, I’ve just walked past Kenwright’s London office in Little Venice, the lights are very much off so don’t think there’s any business happening there tonight

Everton Transfer Thread - Summer 2020

A quick google tells me you’re right. Still though, it probably is Mosh’s if it taken off from Liverpool, best keep an eye on it today, it’s currently at Glasgow

We confirmed E55P was Moshiri’s private jet during the great Allan flight tracking of 2020 didn’t we? Keep an eye on it comrades!

They’re just visuals - but they do tie up with the planning docs - check part 1 and 2 of the Design and Access Statement, both the original and the addendum. These show all the level plans in one place without having to try and find them in the other documents. The differences are pretty clear...

The documents submitted with the planning show the below, not what’s on the app - it’s substantially different.

The app is wrong (I’m pretty certain), they’ve only updated the external view - the internal has been left as per the original planning submission which is not a reflection of the changes they’ve made.

I work in construction, and it reeks of a decision that a contractor would make to save a couple of million quid (for both Everton and them). If im right, I suspect it’s a joint decides between L’OR and Gardiner and Theobold (our appointed project managers) without actually considering the core...

    2020/21 Ben Godfrey

Internet warriors all set for tomorrow’s flight radar session? Delighted with this, exactly the signing we should be targeting, à la Leicester over the last couple of years. Young, high ceiling, highly rated, room for improvement, and crucially won’t bankrupt us if it doesn’t work out!

But there already are 6 elevators on the south side of the ground (in the east and west stands, but to the very far south) that would serve fine. Whether it’s technically enough, I don’t know. Apologies that I keep banging on about it but it’s genuinely the first time that I feel that Everton...

What do you mean buddy? The internet would be a far better place if everyone explained their point of view a little bit. I’m trying to do this, but do appreciate I’m not the most eloquent person so I do struggle to write what I’m trying to explain.

Thanks for your insight, always good to hear about other people’s experiences! I suppose that’s one of the issues of the site being right by the water, we can’t lower the bowl or raise the surrounding ground so the entrances are always going to be at pitch level.

Yeah you’ve got me, massive ablist here. I haven’t explained myself that well - the previous position I thought was fine and that was in the big home end. My position is purely thinking about atmosphere - 280 ish fans (4 rows x 35 seats x 2 blocks) generate more noise than 50 fans, as well as...

In fairness, it’s good that there’s a selection of choice for where to sit for disabled supporters. Personally I much prefer sitting further up than at pitchside, but there are other pitchside disabled options (south and east stands). I can’t help but think we’re shooting ourselves in the foot...

Really not a fan of the disabled seats behind the goals in the south stand, they’ve been moved from the mid way up the stand in the corners. While understandable that it probably makes the stand cheaper to build and improves disabled access as there’s no levels to change, it means the opening is...

Still is. The angle on the photos in the tweet hide the drop on the north stand.

If you read the updated design and access statements, we’re really hammering home the “creating a civic space” aspect of the updates and the western plaza. I assume this is to give us another weapon against these plebs from Historic England and the likes, proving that putting a stadium there is...

The Liverpool planning committee have meetings every 2 weeks (on a Tuesday) and release the agenda for each meeting a week in advance. The next meeting is 14/07 and we’re not on that agenda - it’ll be a minimum of 3 weeks to approval. Could be 5, 7, 9 weeks easily. I was trying to gauge similar...
