I have recently moved to a small seaside town in Somerset and there are a LOT of Everton fans here, I am in a whatsapp group with many of them here and there's 22 of us, plus all of our kids etc. Random really but just shows the reach of Everton.

Think its probably the right choice to sell now, rather than loan, BUT only as long as we have a buy back clause. Think the kid could be very good and would be very short sighted to take the money now with no option to get him back if he does reach his potential.
