    2024/25 Abdoulaye Doucoure

I really do think now is the time to get away from this axis of Doucoure and DCL, both positions tricky and costly to replace admittedly, but we've had years of these fellas, years of setting the team up around them and its been holding us back

    2024/25 Jack Harrison

He's somehow getting progressively worse, today was as bad as it gets but for the last few games now he's been constantly ceding possession, so much so I'd be reluctant to pass to him as a team mate. That right hand side has to be the priority for the next couple of windows

Match Thread Everton 2-3 AFC Bournemouth (Sat 31 Aug 3:00 PM)

Not sure why the majority of these predicted lineups in this thread have DCL starting, criminal if beto gets benched v Bournemouth

    Confirmed Signing Armando Broja

Sadly we didnt manage to get shut of DCL, if we had of, then I'd just about be OK with this as a loan given our circumstances, as it stands though, it doesn't make much sense to me. I see somthing in Chermiti and think he's got real potential, naturally aggressive, good movement - I really...

    Transfer Rumour Jadon Philogene

I stayed in a static caravan on the coast just outside of Hull for a week last year, went into Hull one day and it's just like wigan was in the 90's! Very sound and friendly people though, had a great night and a good laugh going round the pubs

    Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

I think him and Watkins are both quite similar to DCL in a sense, not as good as him on his very best day but both far more consistent generally and a lot more durable

Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

Not sure if not displaying properly on my phone but can only see a few lines of text and all innocuous, what's he saying here what's the outrage?

Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

Spot on, bidders are a long way off engaging with the public imo. As you say trust is earned through actions, and we've all seen moshiri's actions, as much as we can weigh any interested party up and form a logical opinion on them, ultimately we're completely at his mercy. We're not party to...

Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

Anyone remember the Ambani links of years ago, it's a shame he's not in the mix

Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

Sadly, he held us back so badly

Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

Agree mate, there's some sort of fiddle that's gone on there, 100% someone, somewhere has benefited from it

Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

I agree with that mate re Moshiri, I've zero faith in him to get any major decision right. He's lost money in the club granted, mainly his own fault but he'll want to recoup what he can, we can only hope he has some level of integrity and self awareness to try and rectify the damage he's done...

Who's your money on in the takeover 'battle'?

Genuine question I just can't get my head around... Given the current interest in the club, what on earth was this 777 thing all about, the pure amount of time it dragged on, the constant bad press, the exclusivity, the extension, the unsecured loans, the fit and proper test etc etc etc. A...

    2023/24 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

You'd think personally he'd be chomping at the bit to start next game after that performance, beat Brentford at home and we are safe so who are we resting him for?

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Good post this, even before the win against Forest and the 3 points last night, the reality was that we were better off points wise than last season at the same stage, moreover there's been 3 or 4 draws/losses that we should easily of won but for woeful finishing. Ignoring the points deduction...

    2023/24 Jordan Pickford

Some great saves obviously but equally he kicked 4 or 5 top tier balls into their final third - as a team we don't get up the pitch quick enough in support to make anything from it. He handled the heckling really well today and bloody hell the punchers kept it up all game!

    2023/24 Amadou Onana

Agree with this, was one of the few first half actually showing for the ball and willing to receive it, unfortunately the movement in front of him was terrible, too many of them doing nothing to lose markers. That being said he's not above criticism, there was more than a few times he received...

    2023/24 Youssef Chermiti

I agree, looks lively the odd time I've seen him but hasn't really had a look in, should of pushed a loan, can't understand why we haven't offered him around the championship, I think its competitive and a great resource for PL teams to gauge and develop youth players. Worse case scenario dcl...

    2023/24 Amadou Onana

Not sure mate, maybe athletically yes, I genuinely think Garner has got vision though, in a few years he's going to be able to read the game so we'll, you can see it in him now. I just think we can sort of manage without Onana starting, for me we defo miss Garner more. Don't get me wrong I'd...

    2023/24 Amadou Onana

I rate the lad and I'd be sad to see him leave, bags of potential, if yet again we're in a position where we need to sell in this window, then we really have to push for 70 mil, not sure we'll get it like but has to be the target. Seen some back and forth in this thread re this lad, and as...
