New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I said previously in the thread that I was in Bilbao the other week and Athletic's museum on the history of that club and what it meant to the people of the city was fantastic. There's an opportunity for us to something similar here but sad to say I have very little faith.

New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Some of my favourite memories of Everton as a kid are watching the Street End erupt when a goal goes in. God knows how many times I've watched back Ferguson's winner against United in 05. You are right that in the grand scheme of things it's a small complaint but it does look bizarre and...

What we had in the plans for that stand and what we have in reality is a bit underwhelming. I've never seen the accessibility areas look like that in any new ground.

    2024/25 Harrison Armstrong

Mate who supports Derby said he played well but didn't think he was at the level of Mount or Wilson. I thought he looked good today but it's such a big ask to do it consistently at the top level. My gut feeling is Moyes will probably keep him due to a lack of options overall.

Match Thread Blackburn 1-0 Everton. Sat July 19th 3pm.

Listening to them say that for 90 minutes is as painful as the lack of quality. Sadly we're always crap in preseason and then continue to be crap when the season actually starts.

Pre season obviously doesn't matter but it's very easy to identify the problems that aren't going to magically disappear because points are on the line.

    Match Thread Accrington Stanley 1-1 Everton [Pre-Season 2025/26] - Tues 15th July 2025 - 7.45pm KO

Even the lads on commentary are struggling to give a positive spin.

If they are relying on people doing that amount of walking there will be plenty of games we struggle to sell out over the next 5 years.

    7 years a go today.

Love how they stopped playing the music after the goals very early on. Correct call.

New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Not overly impressed by Howard's comments here in my attached picture but I was with Athletic's museum/stadium tour at their ground today. Starting from a blank slate gives us a brilliant opportunity to show off the history of our magnificent club. I'm sure there's plenty we can bring over from...

    2024/25 Seamus Coleman

Just out on a run in Marbella and there he was sitting with the family in a restaurant by the beach. I felt like a proper divvy for interrupting but I had to tell him how much I appreciate what he's done for the club. You hear about what a nice fella he is but I didn't expect him to invite me...

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

It's genuinely sad to see him making noises to stay now it's clear this is as good as it gets for him. We would be fools to keep a player that sees us a last resort.

    2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

He's ganged up on a lot because there's little threat coming from elsewhere on the pitch. Hopefully that changes soon.

Great at times today. Need these performances for the full 90 minutes. Possible that'll only come when our centre mids are good enough to control the game though.

    2024/25 Jack Harrison

Absolutely horrendous yet again. Usually this type of player puts a shift in defensively but the amount of times he got breezed past in the first half was shocking. Don't know how we've pulled off the second half of the season points tally with him in the team.

    2024/25 Vitalii Mykolenko

I slip into the odd phase of thinking he's not that bad but I have to remain strong and say it's a position we need to desperately need to improve. We can't take another season of him being first choice.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Very fitting that was probably his last action. Really hope he isn't here at the start of next season. It's clear he'd only be staying because there's nowhere else for him to go.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think if Moyes genuinely thought we'd get him he wouldn't be saying anything in public. Just putting it out there to say at least we tried.

Match Thread Newcastle 0-1 Everton, Sun, 25 May, 16.00

Already heard Moyes saying last week the season wasn't over after the last game at Goodison. Getting the players motivated for this one and a result would be a very good sign for the manager.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

It's so obvious DCL and those around him don't want to be here. So when you hear noises being made about another contract being signed you can't help but despair. The only reason for that could be that no one else is going to pay anywhere near what he thinks he can get here.
