I must admit I’m utterly baffled why you would design a stadium that can’t be filled for cup games because of the different away allocation . Does that happen anywhere else?

They did have a priority window last year based on home game attendance! The Southampton tickets went to those who went to 15 games - seems fair to me?? Why can’t they just have a mix of priority and ballot?

How can it be fair to those who’ve supported the team in recent years? It doesn’t stop the touts, in fact they’ll be quite happy. An away fan could enter all the ballots and easily make their money back even if they don’t get it for their own teams game.
