Going through our home fixtures and by my reckoning we only have 4 games left to be played on a Saturday. 3 of them are Chelsea, RS and City which more than likely will be moved. That just leaves Sunderland, our last home game of the season. Ridiculous.

With the announcement of more tv games this season then the chances of 3pm Saturday kick offs were somewhat remote and it will only get worse. Utd are in the middle of a run of 13 games without playing at all on a Saturday! Only way it will change is a fans boycott, 2 weekends over a season, 10...

He missed an even bigger sitter in the Quarter Final against Man City, again to put us 3-1 up with about 10 minutes to go and a place in the semi's beckoning. City equalised not long after and beat us comfortably in the replay. He was quick but lacked a little composure in the box.

The other semi final was RS v Arsenal, that went to 3 replays. The 3rd was at Coventry's ground Highfield Road. Same night I was at the Empire watching The Undertones, between a song Fergal Sharkey announced that the RS won 1-0 cue a few cheers and loads of boos, he then says " Nah, only kidding...
