    Kirkby Or Stanley Park

Good, none of us will lose sleep then. I will sit here in my own little world happy about the "manna from heaven". If the £55m didn't arrive i'll still be happy about the move though because other options are way way more expensive but the £55m is massive and will happen. :)

    Kirkby Or Stanley Park

£55m to Tesco is not much, the type of amount that would easily be hidden in the small print within the hundreds of millions thats involved in the scheme. A scheme that will make far more for Tesco than the £55m development money. I'm happy with the explanation from Robert Earl, I can promise...

    Kirkby Or Stanley Park

A football stadium AND the enabling development next door/nearby that would be required for the club would be against Liverpool's UDP, it is cheek by jowel with the city centre developments on one side and project Jennifer on the other. I already knew it would be against the Liverpool UDP...

    Kirkby Or Stanley Park

Wrong! Just because its against the UDP doesn't mean any public enquiry at all and that goes for any objections to it as well from neighbouring councils. You haven't grasped the fact a new stadium/enabling development on the loop or Edge Lane would have gone against Liverpool's UDP but no one...

Kirkby Move - Yes or No?

Kirkbys population is irrelevent, its like saying Walton only has a population of 40,000 so how can it handle Everton matches with 35-40,000 coming into it every fortnight or so, it might not have occurred to you but Kirkby is VERY close to a certain city called er..Liverpool, in fact its next...

Kirkby Move - Yes or No?

That point you make about comparing the Kirkby population to the capacity of the stadium is irrelevent. What the hell has Kirkby's population got to do with the capacity? Secondly the club has no divine right to dictate where they can move too, i'd love us to build on Walton Hall Park but the...

Kirkby Move - Yes or No?

I think you might be getting mixed up with something last summer when a Tesco spokesman (not Leahy) denied Wyness's claims of £50m but that was last summer before the ballot. A lot has happened since then and I don't think anyone has denied Earl's clear public claims of the £55m cheque.

Kirkby Move - Yes or No?

Good post, I remember it was Robert Earl who said that about the £55m cheque.

    Fernandes

We're in a win-win. If he improves and helps us into 4th and maybe a UEFA Cup win then fine if he doesnt then theres others out there.

    Everton 1-0 Reading

No match is easy these days and another crucial three points in the bag cant be moaned about no matter how hard we try sometimes. :)

    Man Utd 1 - 2 Man City

I'm happy with the citeh win, I don't think they'll be much of a problem to us for 4th and am glad those red manc tw*ts have dropped points.
