Just got the train into town and a gang of about 6 lads, 18-20 were coming off the Wirral line, all in various RS shirts making all kinds of noise. Older fella in the station says to them, ‘Who are we playing tonight lads?’ Lad in the front, ‘Erm I’m not too sure you know’ 🤦

Proper bookended this for me. First game with my dad and my sister was Southampton 26th August 1995. 2-0 win, Limpar and Amokachi. Last game is tomorrow vs Southampton, with my dad and my lad 30 years of games almost and starts and finishes with Southampton
