If we were going to sign an injury prone striker Callum Wilson would be a better bet!

Match Thread Newcastle 0-1 Everton, Sun, 25 May, 16.00

History tells me we'll get spanked. Early goal for them and we'll cave. Obviously, I'd love to beat the deluded fools and deny them CL

    2024/25 Jordan Pickford

He made Wilson take the shot early. Got in his head and won the battle.

    Welcome Charlie Adam

You would have no idea that we alledgly have a set piece coach, we have 2 corners in the locker a)Swing it in the middle and dont win the first header b) overhit it to the back post repeat as above 99 times out of 100

    Best responses to kopite taunts

Ask them: Why do you bang on about winning the champions league 6 times? you've won it 2 times , They'll obviously respond they won the European Cup 4 times prior to it being the champions league ( well, i say obviously....) Just respond, "ahh, i see. like our 9 premier league titles we've won"

Match Thread Brentford 1-1 Everton. Wednesday Feb 26th. 7.30pm

I'm under no impression this is going to be a tough night , however I'm not dreading it like I would have dreaded any game a few months ago! I'd be chuffed if we can come away with a point !

Match Thread Crystal Palace 1-2 Everton . Sat Feb 15th. 5.30pm.

I think the side will pick itself based on who is fit, except the number 10. Personally I'd start with Tim in the middle with Gana and push Garner up the field. Leaving Alcaraz on the bench to come on and win the game!

    2024/25 Beto

Match Thread Everton 2-2 Liverpool. Wednesday February 12th . 7.30 pm

Hoping Myko is fit, if so I fully expect to see him and the other 10 players who started v Bournemouth. I'd take Doucs out myself and put Tim or Alcaraz in, doubt Moyes will do it though

Match Thread Everton 0-2 Bournemouth FA Cup 8th Feb 2025

Other than full backs, dont change anything - And I only say fullbacks as its the only position where we can rotate ( a smal amount!)

Match Thread Everton 3-2 Spurs 2pm Sunday 19th

It's as good us a 'must ' win today. If we're going to stay in this league 3 pts against a dodgy spurs has got to be the mindset. Hopefully Moyes just doesn't put the same 11 out again. Something needs to kick start the season, Patterson, Beto, Armstrong, put Garner straight back in...

Match Thread Everton 0-1 Aston Villa - Wednesday 15th January 19:30

Villas strength is the midfield, all full of energy and love to join the attack, I'd pack our midfield tight Pickers. Patto, Tarks, Branthwaite , Myko Mangala - Gana - Doucs Harrison Ndiaye DCL

    6 + 2 Point Deductions

I somehow forgot that the PL were appealing the decision regarding Leicester . Any help would be appreciated in keeping us up ! Although respect to them for finding a technicality, I'd be delighted if we'd done it

    Graham Potter - Poll

Its a risk, and possibly the worst time in our history when we can afford to take a risk. Premier league football in the new stadium is a must. If we were talking about him replacing Dyche in the summer I'd vote yes. Not that I can watch another moment of dyche ball
