To reassure, this isn't an Everton thing, both the yellow wall at Dortmund and our single tier stand have a super-riser at the point the gradient changes. It's a pretty standard solution in this kind of design. As others have said, you won't notice it when the stand is full.

fwiw, we had an U18s match at half-capacity, then a Legends match at three-quarters capacity. Then it opened. No test events for other uses, and no test events at full capacity either.

All said, not rushing to open BMD mid-season next year is probably a very wise decision. I know we had our issues, but at least we delayed the opening by a few months to fix them. This Co-op Live thing is a massive, massive shambles....people literally travelling to shows told to turn around...
