Agree with this. He was the big bowler - especially against the left handlers today. Poor.

Been a great series so far imo. Both teams have played great stuff/backs against the wall cricket at times…but of needle as well. India batsmen been great today. England a different team with a fully fit Stokes.

Everton 0-3 Bournemouth. Sat July 26th. 9 Pm.

Result aside, the main frustration is injuries and lack of depth means we play a formation that we will probably not play against all season. Pointless to an extent. Also says a lot about the depth of our academy that there’s no centre back coming through that could step into a pre season...

Desperately need new players for sure…also missing three centre backs and have to play a dreadful formation because of it. We will sign some players, will win some games, lose some, few draws..people will cry about Nathan Patterson and ultimately we will finish between 15th and 10th.

Bonkers that we have the same makeshift ‘wingbacks’ as we did that last day survival game v Bournemouth….

Think we have looked pretty good here. Alcaraz and Ndiaye add so much to the side.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I am sure we will be fine (ish) by the end of August...but the issue is as always we basically throw points away because we haven't got our squad in place for start of the season. Moyes has history with us as well in the past of going into the season undercooked and scrambling around to get new...

Have to say I think he’s all wrong for us - got a feeling he’d flop here. We are desperate for some pacey and direct attackers - clear as day what the team is missing.

Should Everton have done more in the transfer market by now?

Barry and Alcaraz both feel like good business, same with Branthwaite new contract. In all honesty I’d have stuck with Ashley young for another year to cover lb and rb, considering how we are struggling to find a full back- certainly offers more than Coleman on the playing side now. Just too...

But that overweight balding guy has just got himself a brand new, 16 bedroom house with a swimming pool and a lovely looking crest. Got to count for something.

Think a lot of that was down to the Covid era as well - felt like there was some mad performances and results during that period. No crowds/sparring difficulties etc.

Usyk just an absolute animal. He’s miles clear ahead of everyone in the division. Fury gave him problems in the first simply due to style and size - but he works it all out and ends out a clear winner. Think fury is the only one who could pull out a winning performance against him - but it feels...

    Match Thread Accrington Stanley 1-1 Everton [Pre-Season 2025/26] - Tues 15th July 2025 - 7.45pm KO

Impressed by Heath and Clarke (only 16!) when they came on. Highlights what we really lack , pace and width! There surely must be a right winger out there that fits the bill for what we desperately need. Impressed by Armstrong - clearly a class act and might be needed this year. Iroegbunam...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

You’d like to think if we have the right people in place that they can sell this version of Everton with the new stadium and opportunities ahead over teams like forest/brentford/Brighton/West Ham at least.

Genuinely would rather have kept young for.a season than bother with coufal.

    F1 2025 (and other motorsports)

Sexual harassment (allegedly) - nah we will stick with him... Max potentially leaving - GET HORNER OUT In all honesty he played the villain well, but he is such an annoying pain in the arse and the drop off at Red Bull since 2023 has been ridiculous - without Verstappen they'd be insignificant.

    2024/25 Jack Harrison

I sort of agree - I thought the worst when Ndiaye got injured against Liverpool. but he stepped in and plugged a hole and was part of the team that did much better. As a bench player in our current predicament we probably won't get much better...if we got a top notch starting right winger then I...
