Been a great series so far imo. Both teams have played great stuff/backs against the wall cricket at times…but of needle as well. India batsmen been great today. England a different team with a fully fit Stokes.

Result aside, the main frustration is injuries and lack of depth means we play a formation that we will probably not play against all season. Pointless to an extent. Also says a lot about the depth of our academy that there’s no centre back coming through that could step into a pre season...

Desperately need new players for sure…also missing three centre backs and have to play a dreadful formation because of it. We will sign some players, will win some games, lose some, few draws..people will cry about Nathan Patterson and ultimately we will finish between 15th and 10th.

Think a lot of that was down to the Covid era as well - felt like there was some mad performances and results during that period. No crowds/sparring difficulties etc.
