Him going to a CL team to be a squad player would be a terrible thing for his development. Hes only 20 and needs to play regularly. Hed just get lost in a team like Chelsea or bayern ect. Also imagine a CL team being like "we just need to get rid of our 3rd choice so we can bring you in"

Tbf he had less space because we had two out of McNeil, harrison or alcaraz playing on the wings. Two actual wingers that stretch the opposition will give him lots more space in the middle.
