    2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

Just another day in Everton-land. We miss out on Tete and re-sign Keano.

Popped a Samuel Beckett pill lad? Nice one.

    2024/25 Beto

errr .. well i guess it's about trying and caring and the fact that not all do. we're quick to call it out when they don't so it follows we might support them when they do. meantimes apparently poor players with the potential to be better can improve. is he one of them is the question?

    Stick or Twist

For me Stick : Pickford, Branthwaite, Gana, Garner, Myko, McNeil, Chermiti, Tarks, O'Brien, Ndiye, Coleman, Alcaraz, Beto, Mangala Twist : Broja, Doucs, Keane, Young, Lindstrom, Harrison, DCL, Patterson and bring back Armstrong pronto.

    2024/25 Armando Broja

Yes. Chermeti. Want to see him starting now for the remainder of the season.
  7. wabisabi

    2024/25 David Moyes

All good as long as we can now move on from Keane and Broja for the rest of the season. Noticed yesterday they both carry a kind of aimlessness in their play and positioning.. anyways.. enough. tara.

    2024/25 Jack Harrison

Watching him in recent games .. when you see him running, looks like he is fast and yet he doesn't cover any ground. Somehow reflects him as player. Apparently maximum effort yet without any effect.

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Thank the lord then that he didn't do that 'little bit more' earn those 5 more points and still be here eh?

    Yep to all of this.

    Graham Potter - Poll

Just so done with Dyche now. The guy is totally cooked. Fried. Boiled. Flambéd. Time to get him out on the grass. I would suggest. Bring Potter in off the grass. Get some noise around him. Get the feel of what he's like. Let's twist. Everton under Dyche are just increasingly unbearable and...

The next manager appointment (new thread)

All day been reading 'upwards and onwards', here's to the future' and 'bright new dawn' ... Now see Moysey tops our 'next manager' poll. Some things never change eh? So it's actually 'same old, same old', 'here's to the old' and 'all our yesterdays'. Everton that.

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

All of this would be perfectly reasonable, if the guy in question hadn't been in professional football management since 2007. That's 17 wasted years before the dropping of that lucky penny.

    Match Thread Everton 4-0 Wolves - Wednesday 4th December - 19:30

Flew over from MELBOURNE! Err that'll be Melbourne, Australia right? FLEW over from Melbourne! Flew OVER (OVER!!) from Melbourne! For the Brentford game. Wow Bruv.
  15. wabisabi

    2024/25 Jesper Lindstrom

It really is, especially as Dyche clearly instructs the wing backs not to venture beyond the midfield line. It's destroying Mykolenko's game and his confidence with it.

Match Thread Southampton 1-0 Everton . Sat November 2nd. 3pm

I still can't actually believe we have had Allardyce, Benitez and Dyche as managers of the actual Everton Football Club. Totally gutting to acknowledge the terrible truth of this awful lineage of 💩.

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Notwithstanding the valid reasoning for not being able to sack/replace him right now ... we probably already have.
  18. wabisabi

    2024/25 Nathan Patterson

Anyway right now it doesn't matter. Coleman is out. Young is a last 15 min sub at best. Dyche just needs to get over himself and show that he can support players as well as berate, blame and slap 'em.
  19. wabisabi

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Yep earlier this morning I was with you on that ... but as the day goes on I'm just with the feeling he's done. Seems to me he is at his glass ceiling now and won't be punching through anytime soon. I was dubious when we first brought him in but thought okay he can navigate us through the...

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Yep but he was massively helped by the three or four teams who just happened to be exceptionally poor and worse than us. No guarantee that'll be the case again this season.
