Such an odd season from him last year. Started the season out of necessity and looked great. Out of the team for a while and not the same when he came back. There’s a player there though.

Ndiaye is on a different level.

Tough to say without seeing him there more but he’s played it in the past and he’s got a skill set that works in either place imo. In any case, quality depth will be welcome for a change.

The only benefit is that Chermiti can actually go play. I'm all for alternatives to that. But Chermiti needs to actually get games one way or another, and that won't happen as third choice at Everton, barring injuries to Beto and Barry.

He already got some minutes in the gold cup for Jamiaca and would've been working on fitness since then as well. We shouldn't need him to play for a few months still...So again, it's not a terrible thing if it happens and he's third choice.

1 year deal as 3rd choice is perfectly fine if that’s all it is. Get Chermiti loaned out somewhere he’ll actually play.
