Yep that is unfortunately the case as Everton is not for sale. Imagine what Moyes could do with a transfer budget of 30-40 million.

    Rodwell

Well Moyes found Arteta for 2.5 million so he could find another bargain who has potential to take over his role in the future. We will have some money to spend but not that much. However, selling Arteta would be a backward step and would lower team morale.

    Rodwell

My point was that we have to keep Arteta so we can add to the squad thus giving Arteta more competition in his position.

Moyes is building a squad here to break into the top 4 so why would he sell his best players? We need to keep our best players and add to them. You can't just have a best 11. You have to have competition to get a place in the first 11.

Found this Leighton Baines His 4 assists are against Newcastle(2), Hull and Arsenal. It quotes on that page ''Baines's three assists put him joint top among left backs after his cross was headed in by Marouane Fellaini in Everton's 2-0 win at home to Hull.''

Well he has defended very well, provided some great crosses and has 4 assists or so which is great for a left back and recently has been one of the best left backs in the country.

Well everyone has an opinion, I accept that. I just cannot believe how you can drop Baines when he has been one of our best players this season. I'm sure everyone else would agree.

Why? He's been brilliant for us down the left and given us extra width. He is a much better left back than Lescott and links up with Pienaar very well. Also, Lescott is a better centre back than Yobo.
