….the other factor in this, is if players want to leave they normally leave. Power is with players these days, especially in the modern game. It’s not so much Everton selling players to certain clubs we want to stop, it’s players wanting to leave for certain clubs.

….noticed that, yet there’s hardly a defensive clip of him and he’s built like a jockey. Looks very comfortable in possession, tricky and pacy to go past opposition players and can pick a pass. Everything about him suggests his strengths are as an attacking FB.

….looks a bag of tricks, the type to make you look stupid in training. What I wouldn’t know is his capability as a defender, he’s 5ft 8in and looks 10st dripping wet but I get the impression we have a regime who do their homework on players, seems an ideal acquisition for the monies.
