    Sir Landon Of Donovan

wow, he might as well just put in a transfer request. He is practically begging to be an Everton player.

    Sir Landon Of Donovan

    Around 5.15 GBP...that's pretty reasonable.

    Sir Landon Of Donovan

If that is the price for a loan, I'd hate to see the cost of buying him. MLS values him very highly and won't give any discounts.

Would you take Charlie Davies on Loan?

No, he'll probably go on loan to Ligue 2. He shouldn't think about playing in a top league this season.

    Sir Landon Of Donovan

He's a fictional character from football soap opera Dream Team, known for its ridiculous and unbelievable plots. Apologies in advance if you were being facetious.

    Sir Landon Of Donovan

Donovan has been pretty bad the last few times I've watched him in MLS. It's clear that his non-stop 2010 schedule is finally taking it's toll on his performances, so it's a good thing he didn't transfer this summer. Now he gets November and December to rest and recover.

    Aston Villa v Everton. Sunday 29th August @ 16.00.

Get an early goal and Villa will collapse. They have no leadership right now.

Remember who was telling you about the situation at Aston Villa this summer......

They'll be fine, unless Lerner decides to bail on them. That seems unlikely considering he lives over there and has a Villa tattoo. He knew exactly what he was doing, loaning the club his money to build up a squad that was in shambles and on the edge of relegation. It's not like they're...

    Bullard and Altidore

I may be a biased yank, but if you want to buy an American attacker not named Landon, you should go after Dempsey, not Altidore. He was good today and could play in several different positions on your team. As for Altidore, he needs to play at a lower level and develop some before he can be of...

    Marko Marin

Bremen just paid a lot of money for him last summer, and he's only 20 so I can't see him leaving so soon.

Sports Illustrated: Donovan's immediate success at Everton could complicate his futur

Oh the reference flew way over my head. Yeah, I'm a big Arrested Development fan, so I guess I should be ashamed for missing that.

Sports Illustrated: Donovan's immediate success at Everton could complicate his futur

Hi everyone, another American fan here. It's sad I'm kind of hoping for a work stoppage in MLS, but I just don't want to see Donovan have to come back. He seems to be loving it at Everton and he fits in so well with the team work ethic and style of play. Too bad he didn't finish that chance...
