I never judge these not turning up to training stories though, sometimes clubs can be irrational and players feel the only way they can force the hand of their club is to make drastic actions like this to get a move they want etc. Not ideal, but can see why it happens at times.

He was dreadful tbh, passing was horrendous, but I looked him up and apparently he plays centre back so I guess he was out of position. But I still don't know how you could like the look of him off this particular performance lol

I always rated the lad to be honest, could see there was high potential there with the attributes he had, think he needed a good manager that let him refine his rawness. Could have been great at Everton, either way, he's a 50mill asset for another club now..

I actually hope that by mid season Beto is either playing in a 2 upfront, or relegated to the bench.. only because that would mean that Barry has come in and done the biz

Always liked DCL for his all round game but was never ever gonna be prolific enough to lead the line for us forever. I'm at a point where I think we just move on and let him go. Also feel like even though he has been here since youth level, Everton has never really touched him, and got into...
