I don't mind buy back or release clauses if they're going to be worth having i.e at least double the money you're paying for a player. Otherwise you're getting a raw deal.
Yeah, I'm very impressed. Looks like the loan move has helped him massively in coming out of his shell. He had glimpses in the cup games for us but felt like he was still within himself a tad. Feels like he's properly stepped up to men's football.
We just need fresh blood. The squad is a bit stale and we have also lost a lot of players over the summer. Need to inject some life into the side as well as much needed quality.
Id have him ahead of Garner at this rate. Id still sign a new CM to be a starter but he's showing enough this preseason to be part of the squad and to get regular minutes.
Don't care what he looks like in pre season as long as he's fit. He has been good when it's mattered for two seasons in a row now and fully expect him to be as good in his third.
He had promise when we first signed him but has stalled massively. Same with Myko. Both should be squad players now and I hope we make that happen this summer.
Would be the same as last season. Some really rough periods and some good periods leaving us around bottom half but not relegated i.e 16th to 12th. Make the right additions and we can bump up to c. 12th to 8th for next season expectations.
I think he's a decent pick up due to his versatility at RB/LB which he's capable of doing as a backup for a club at our and West Ham's level which should be sniffing around those European spots, but if that 90k wage is true then it's well avoided.
So you'd be paying a full back that has been playing at the lower levels of the PL an above average wage. That doesn't sound sensible and seems a lot of money to me. Around half of that is where he should be.
