    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Same if he plays off the right - we are desperate for pace there more than anything.

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

They have so many similar types of players just in this team. McAtee, Elliot, Nwaneri - all just want the ball to feet and no movement behind.

Looks slow and lightweight. Not sure he’s what we need tbh

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I tend to assume every foreign journo I haven't heard of is a @chicoazul multi account on twitter and then go from there....seems to be the easiest way.

Man. That was a grim bench for the first game of the season.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Didn’t we have a ridiculously small squad at the start of one of our seasons under Moyes. Think we lost to Blackburn at home with Baines playing left wing, Jose Baxter our single sub used and the rest of bench unknowns form u21’’s. Got a massive job on his hands. Needs to use the loan market...

The Messi v Ronaldo debate merely separates thoughts who know ball…and those who don’t. Messi by a landslide.

    F1 2025 (and other motorsports)

It's not even an apology really is it....can't be many worse duos in sport than Verstappen and Horner? Not surprising he is nowhere to be seen this week with his excel printouts...

    F1 2025 (and other motorsports)

Piastri has this sown up - ruthless in that McLaren. Verstappen is a menace - genius of a driver but he needs the book thrown at him at some point. Sad to see the state Hamilton is in as well, Consistent qualifying pace has left him a while back but sad to see a stake overtaking him today...

    2024/25 Tim Iroegbunam

His position is definitely further forward, his pressing late in games has been effective at times...coupled with his ability to drive one is a good mix. I worry about how/if he ill ever develop further back in the midfield...which is where Dyche and Moyes have used him. He was obviously...

    2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

I do think we need some early positive transfer success stories. Such a lot to do this summer and would rather the first ones be exciting rather than coufal or…pistone…

    Koff Newcastle!

    Transfer Rumour Liam Delap

I think that and the new stadium. For a team who finished 13 I think we are an exciting proposition for new players. Moyes has a track record of being steady and developing players as well which will help. Delap, Doak etc - if that’s the profile we are going with when spending money than I’m...

    2024/25 Abdoulaye Doucoure

As others said, right decision but will be remembered fondly as someone who at least stood up during the dark days. His goals v Brighton (that volley) and Bournemouth basically saved us that year. Was never a number 10 but did a job. Hopefully we can get some more quality in those attacking...

Patterson screams a move back to rangers to me. I think it’s time to move him on and properly invest in a serious starter there.

I think coufal would have been the other option if not young…same scenario though, young is dependable, great pro and if he doesn’t start too many hopefully will have a solid impact at some points in the season.

    Your greatest 'moment' at Goodison

That villa game was class. That whole ‘Rooney’ period felt like you were potentially watching someone who could single handedly take us to another level…alas… I still remember the 0v0 against Bolton when he was unplayable..even though he didn’t score.

Music wise - I imagine we get The La's and The Farm? I think Elton John and Macca would mean the transfer budget gone!
