Match Thread Everton v Manchester United - Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

United would/could/should have thrashed Everton had they played to 10% of their powers but unfortunately they only played at 8% and that gave plucky little Everton a chance.

Of course they won't turn on him, they can look back at all his achievements in his managerial career to ease any troubled minds. Like he once got to an FA cup quarter final and erm...relegated Cardiff.

All that tells me is that Lookman just isn't big enough for professional football... :p

Just wanted to add that Goodison looked magnificent today. It still has a majesty about her and it really is going to be a pain to leave.

To be fair there were quite a few to remember today. Put it down to old age.

Discussion & help on depression & mental health related issues

I think this is more common than you would possibly think. I have a severe jinx complex that leads me to not watching many matches anymore. Amazing that I, you or anyone else could feel guilt over what Everton do. As if I have special powers to do anything, let alone control 11 other people to...

    2018/19 Richarlison

If we reversed his season then I could see the interest as it would show progression. Two years on the trot his goals have dried up as it goes on and that is a worry. He also played a lot of those games as a centre forward which also makes me think he should have gotten more. I like him and I...

    2018/19 Richarlison

Is that good enough to replace Suarez at Barcelona? He may get there, but he isn't there at the moment. 12 goals is a good return, not great and seeing he scored most of those in the first few months, my point still stands.

    2018/19 Richarlison

More speculation in the newspapers that Barcelona want him in the summer. All I can say is really? Bit hot and cold is our Richarlison and certainly not ready to compete at the highest level.

Also shows a baseball stadium. Nothing to do with us unless we have decided to take up a different sport.

    General ineptitude

It takes a special kind of club to show that level of consistency. Other clubs like Swansea and Birmingham and Portsmouth to name a few have fallen in to the trap of winning stuff. Overrated if you ask me. Finish between 5th and 17th each year and congratulate ourselves with a good job done. :hayee:

    New Stadium Discussion

Let's hope so because 1) it is a joke they have a stadium that can hold more than ours and 2) the fact that the public are losing money propping up a premiership football club is a national disgrace. To think Spurs would have bought the site and rebuilt a new dedicated football stadium and also...

    Blame The Players Thread

I blame the players... And the manager. And the coaching staff. And the kit man. Definitely blame Kenwright. And most of all I blame myself for believing we had turned a corner and/or liking football in the first place and then choosing to support Everton. That said I will love them again...

Match Thread Fulham v Everton; Preview, Match Report and MotM Poll

I haven't been this chuffing mad in a while. Although I should have expected it. As one door opens with Everton another quickly slams in your face and then jams your fingers just for good measure.

    New Stadium Discussion

I guess simply because all the fans that want to use it would have to walk underneath the stands to get to it. That would mean a possible 50 something thousand fans passing through a place that is designed to safely cope with a figure half of that. When it is Regent Road side the people sitting...
