Yeah, massive drawback of Dyche is the potential pool of players coming in is massively reduced.

Agree but think a better 10 on the ball whose pacy will bring a lot more goals for this team than with Doucs as the main man. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see some pace on the wings, but may be putting cart before the horse without a 'baller' at 10, given Dycheball. I spend money on some...

Yep and for Dycheball the answer may lie in speed through the middle (10). Dyche undoubtedly values endurance over speed. A fast and loose winger amongst a tight rest of the team would probably give him piles, and see him lucky to get off the bench. In the middle Doucs ticks a lot of boxes for...

Debatable whether the prize money would be more than Dobbin and Chermiti having good games and increasing their value. Presumably there up for sale as Dyche seems to have no interest in playing them

Yeah would be a decent option next season if we get one

Dobbin and Chermiti starting is smart business let alone in a purely football sense. Was Dyche told to play Onana and in response plays Jimmy on the right? - I'm sure this is nonsense but then nonsensical has been par this season

Pure joy that last 10 mins knowing they had em beat. Like a river washing away eternity. Went Branthwaite MoM. Hope he realises he won't find a better partner than Tarks. Gana incredible...they all were. :celebrate:

Pathetic or just more genius from Tarks. Served up that space for Dom on a platter. Our skipper is criminally underrated.

    2023/24 Amadou Onana

While I'm blaming Dyche for lack of progress it's clear there something lacking at the core of Onana's attention and as such, the core of his character (as dr. iain mcgilchrist says - attending to is a moral act)

Bit harsh. Onana needs the right coach and discipline, think he could make and exceptional 6. Idrissa continues to do a decent job, it all about the players around him that make him a virtue, as they are for him.

Match Thread Everton v Burnley - Waffle, Match Report & MotM Poll

Sure the depth is a problem but if you take Onana and Idrissa out it, would be for most teams I don't see a problem with Douc as CM and Gomes at 10 for this match, the problem is Dyche's inflexibility in tactics and lack of rotation, and subtext of lack of faith in all the players to do anything...

That midfield is a real concern not just for this match but also for the next games if luck isn't on our side which it clearly isn't. The problem arises from Dyche's stubbornness and inflexibility and the rolebof the 10. Gomes can't play a full match in this 10 role so he's likely to play CM...
