    Everton transfers that seemed *done*

One of those stories that is likely utter nonsense. Another one where we were suddenly going to lash £40m on a player and then never spent a penny of it elsewhere. A classic BK media briefing if there ever was one.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

We have been better at doing that against the top teams ironically as they leave us more space. But I’m not sure the stats would back up that we actually score more that way. I’m not sure the composition of the forward line will change next season. Especially if dyche is desperate to get...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Our entire game plan against every team is sit back and hope for a set piece. We literally have the highest percent of set piece goals of any European top flight team last season. Other than Sheffield United we scored the fewest goals last season. So yeah Moyes was crap away at the top...

Seemed to wash with Forest. They didn’t get hit particularly heavy for deliberately delaying the Johnson sale.

    2023/24 Jarrad Branthwaite

100x this. We are a sucker hooked into a payday loan trap.

Hopefully this season has taught us that stripping the squad bare to try and comply with the rules is a fools errand. Take the deductions and keep the players.

Fingers crossed they will strip them of all their titles and give them to the RS and United right? Seems only fair they get them for wasting money instead of spending it well.

They’ve been trying to force Pickford out for years though without him actually wanting to go. He does have a choice (appreciate he doesn’t have the same attachment to us as Pickford does).

    Farhad Moshiri

I think this is underpriced in his 777 motivation. Always assumed it was about getting as much money as he can. But 777 are so obviously not going to be allowed to take over that it does feel like it is just spite now.

If he goes this season he will be the latest in a long list of players who jump too soon. Another season like he has had and he will be considered one of the best defenders in the league and will be bought as such. If he goes now he will be warming the bench at the first mistake he makes.

    2023/24 Ashley Young

Coleman strung a series of games together over the last two seasons?

    2023/24 Ashley Young

Did more to relegate us this season than anyone (including the PL) and somehow gets a new contract. No amount of cloth cutting is worth having young as a starting right back (which is exactly what he will be).

Weird, I heard pretty consistently on here that PL clubs can’t take the PL to court.

    VAR

Except for the blatant match rigging where Argentina got 4 penalties every game from VAR.

    Worst referee

Anthony Taylor is who the league use to rig matches. Hate it when he refs us. Kavanagh hates us very openly too.

The other 14 are just turkeys that consistently vote for Christmas.

Possibly the best keeper in the league Best young CB in the league Tarkowski is a decent PL quality CB Gana, Doucoure are both mid table premier league players Onana is clearly highly rated by far better performing clubs than us DCL is a top tier striker when fit and on form (doesn’t happen...

Lampard is an awful manager who had a lot to deal with here Dyche is a slightly less awful manager who has had even more to deal with here and who has dealt with the off field stuff well. The Luton and Sheffield games have shown we aren’t going to go into next season playing decent football...

I agree, that four month winless streak (a record for Everton) was great. Can’t believe he managed to keep us up against three of the worst teams to ever play in the premier league. Truly the pinnacle of management. Can’t wait to fill the squad with more Ashley Youngs and Jack Harrison’s so...
