    2019/20 Marco Silva

I don't think he has been given 1 or 3 games, I think he is already a dead man walking and we are trying to get his successor in place before we sack him.

I don’t want Rafa either, but, I would have to credit McClaren with at least an assist in the barcode’s relegation.

    2019/20 Marco Silva

Quite surprised here, been out for a run, had a shower, checked in and he still hasn't been sacked.

    2019/20 Moise Kean

Thing is, he could have had all that somewhere else, he could have joined Arsenal to sit on their bench, that’s all he’s doing here. The difference is, Calvert Lewin is keeping him out of the team here

He must be sitting in his hotel room tonight thinking WTF have I done?

    Marco Silva (Poll)

Voted sack, I probably would have been on the fence before his disgraceful after match comments, imagine trying to defend that performance. The man is as deluded as Martinez in his final months, the difference is, at least Martinez showed a little passion.

Homepage Update: Marco Silva's Burnley Defeat Reaction

I have always thought that he might turn it around, but, over the last few games I have lost faith. His reaction to the game today is, for me, the final nail in his coffin. If he thinks today’s display was in any way acceptable he needs to be sacked now. I think I could have just about...

    Next Manager (Poll)

I’ve gone for Mancini because I don’t think we would have a prayer of getting Simeone. However, if we could get Wenger to come in with a younger assistant who he could gradually cede control to over the next 2 seasons that might work.

    2019/20 Marco Silva

The players were certainly not playing save their under pressure manager's job today. Very little urgency shown

    Alan Ball as a manager

Like all truly great players, he couldn't understand why the players he was managing couldn't do what he asked them to do. It came naturally to him, yes he worked hard at his game, but, he had a level of ability that could not be coached into average players.

    Silva must go

Anyhow, back to Silva, I have said before, we fall apart as soon as we concede. The one recurring factor at the end of the season is that we did not concede in the games against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd. We look decent enough week in and week out until we concede, at that point...

    2019/20 Michael Keane

He is ok and no more than that, too slow on the turn, not aggressive enough and switches off. He gets games for England because his competition is very ordinary, Maguire, Jones, Smalling. Stones is the only centre back of real quality available for England.

The best player I have seen in royal blue by a country mile.

    Silva; Stubborn or Panicker?

I voted C but really I think he is a mixture of A andB. Really needs to go, but, not until Brands has lined up his successor, agreed terms with him and got a release agreement with his current employers, if applicable. We really can’t afford to just sack him and have all ‘Fat Sam’s’ media...

Last time we came from behind to win...

Doesn’t matter how well we are playing, as soon as we concede we panic. A lot of bottlers out there and a manager who has shown no signs of being able to motivate them. Don’t give me that old guff about Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Utd. at the end of last season, number one there was no...

Homepage Article I still believe in Marco Silva

Not too worried with the defeat and performance versus City, however, Pickford’s attitude worries me. It’s the defeats at the hands of Sheffield Utd. Bournemouth and Villa that concern me and a manager who says he will not set up any differently for away games and home games. Do we really need...

It was even worse than that Cameron. He tripped over a sign telling the players not to use that part of the pitch in the warm up. Thick didn’t even begin to cover it.

    2019/20 Theo Walcott

It’s a serious injury, he needs to be ‘rested’ for the next 30 or so games to recover properly.
