    January Transfer Window 2026

KDH needs to be the barometer moving forward. Exactly the kind of signings that slowly bring the levels up. Unfortunately it’s the exception rather than the norm.

    2025/26 Merlin Röhl

I haven’t seen that with Dibbling - he has had one purple patch at soton early on and faded. From what I’ve seen from him at England u21 and limited game time here he seems quite one paced and lacking a bit of physicality. Obviously young and might come on but I wouldn’t have spent that much...

    January Transfer Window 2026

I feel it’s a formality he will bring Armstrong back as another midfield option with KDH and gueye out - obviously short of numbers but also don’t feel Moyes trusts Alcaraz/ Rohl..even Iregbounam enough.

    Next 4 Games

Each game will be a massive grind. Won’t be pleasant viewing but hopefully we get the right side of most of em. 7 points I reckon.

    2025/26 Merlin Röhl

I think this is spot on. He looked rusty as hell and touch was off - but he looks like his physicality is there for the prem and can be moulded into a decent option. This is where I struggle with seeing Dibbling, just looks likes he is miles off what’s needed physically.

Toothless without our two main attacking threat. Did we even have a shot? Didn’t expect much more. We can’t afford to carry squad members like dibbling / Aznou etc - both look more and more like pointless waste of money.

Having watched him a fair few times for Wales always think Johnson flatters to deceive, and surely he would just stifle dibbling’s development. Two full backs in January please. Although hearing VFTB saying that Emerson royal is being touted around, not sure if that’s what we need either.

    2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Rohl back in training at least so i imagine will be a ‘body’ on the bench on Saturday. Big miss KDH - always liable to pull something imo after playing in the summer and not having rest or a proper pre season. Hopefully we come out of the period relatively unscathed - lots of teams will have...

    Today’s Football 25/26 Season

League is so tight - feels like anyone can batter anyone on any given day.

    Today’s Football 25/26 Season

I know he’s probably on ridiculous money but Xhaka could have transformed us for a few seasons.

    2025/26 David Moyes

He’s going to have to work some miracles if KDH and Grealish are out with hamstrings…alongside Ndiaye and Gueye! A Garner yellow from barely being able to put out a side.

Would love Ampadu here next season . He’s a class act in defensive midfield.

    2025/26 David Moyes

Moyes excels in these ‘backs against the wall/threadbare squad/square pegs in round holes’ situations. Great win.

    The Ashes 2025

Been a great stint from Boland here. England been awful in this test match - Root hundred aside. Could have been an even bigger margin. I thought the bowling attack have been appalling. Archer flatters to deceive for me. If you can’t beat this Aussie side when they’re missing three of...

Match Thread Everton 3-0 Notts Forest. Sat 6th December

I think this too…McNeill has been getting some minutes, feel Moyes would rather play him than stick Patterson in whose been injured all season. Either way - a grim squad today. Beto/Dibbling the only probable bench options - wonder how many keepers we might have on there today.

    The Ashes 2025

This period is where the difference between Hazelwood/Cummings and Neser/Dogget is so obvious

    2025/26 Tyler Dibling

More of an issue when there really is not many options when Ndiaye goes to Afcon and you’d imagine he is going to get significant minutes. Surprised he hasn’t given him a little more opportunities / confidence. I fully expect McNeill to start games ahead of him but he will be the main...
