I'd go as far to say its his worst ever game for us, which I don't think is hyperbole given he was at fault either partially or significantly for all 4 goals, an absolute horror show. Not the sole reason we lost, admittedly. Just hope he's got it all out his system in 1 game.

He's a huge miss. Keane and Tarkowski have done OK but the difference with JB I'd significant.

Felt like a total absence of leadership in that first half. Things went south but nobody seemed to step up and take the initiative, even if that meant sitting in to, yknow, not lose the game in the first half. Which we now have.

Halves like that remind me we are playing with cloggers at CB (who've generally been OK this season), full backs who can't attack, a central midfield badly lacking any control and a striker who can't score. But other than that, it's all good.

I really hope this lad can step up in the coming weeks and months because we're going to need him. He's been effective from the bench in a couple of games recently, but also has not looked good enough in previous games. Fingers and toes crossed he can seize his chance.

The ref could have handled it a lot better, but if we saw the opposition do this we'd be livid if the red didn't come out (regardless of our feelings on the law itself). I don't agree with it or the application of it, but it wasn't an egregious decision.

For all it was a heroic shift defensively, longer term I was more encouraged by the first half, the way we pressed and how we passed the ball about even with 10 men. It shows we can do it, which makes it all the more infuriating we don't do it a lot of the time.

It wasn't a 100% wrong decision, but I also thought it was poor refereeing. The law allows subjectivity and there was clearly very little force in it. To get the red out so quickly struck me as him panicking and thinking he saw something worse. It'll get swept under the carpet because we won.
