    2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

I really hope this lad can step up in the coming weeks and months because we're going to need him. He's been effective from the bench in a couple of games recently, but also has not looked good enough in previous games. Fingers and toes crossed he can seize his chance.

Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

The ref could have handled it a lot better, but if we saw the opposition do this we'd be livid if the red didn't come out (regardless of our feelings on the law itself). I don't agree with it or the application of it, but it wasn't an egregious decision.

    2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

Our most talented attacking player by a country mile. I really hope we can continue to strengthen and make sure he has the players around him to flourish here.

For all it was a heroic shift defensively, longer term I was more encouraged by the first half, the way we pressed and how we passed the ball about even with 10 men. It shows we can do it, which makes it all the more infuriating we don't do it a lot of the time.

Bad ref decisions - for and against - season 2025/26

It wasn't a 100% wrong decision, but I also thought it was poor refereeing. The law allows subjectivity and there was clearly very little force in it. To get the red out so quickly struck me as him panicking and thinking he saw something worse. It'll get swept under the carpet because we won.

    2025/26 David Moyes

We had numerous at Spurs and Man City didn't we? Not that "top 6" means anything anymore.

    2025/26 Vitalii Mykolenko

Defensively did superbly against tricky customers. 80% of their danger came down his side, but he stood up well. If he could do anything with the ball he'd be a real tidy player.

    2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Think he's been underwhelming in some games this season. Exceptional tonight, his best performance for us even without the goal.

    2025/26 David Moyes

All of them 1-0 too. I mean that in a good way - getting results at tough places doesn't mean gung ho, it's getting the balance right.

    2025/26 Thierno Barry

Now that is a performance where I'm less bothered about the goals. The way he kept a whole defence busy feeding off scraps was really impressive. Think he'll have earned some goodwill with that shift, and rightly so.

    2025/26 Jordan Pickford

Pulls out a performance like this a few times a season. One of the PL greats and eventually casual observers will realise.

    2025/26 Idrissa Gana Gueye

Yep, this. The break will dampen the vitriol, but we need others to step up.

Proudest I've been of a performance in a long while.

Fully expecting it to go to pot, but really pleased with how we played there, given the circumstances.

    2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

His performance today just proves what we all know, that he shouldn't be playing at 10.

Agreed. No issues with the first 2 - it's bizarre to have so many in 1 game but they are standard offsides. The 3rd one though to have been scratched with little to no explanation is bonkers. Its at best highly subjective as to whether Barry was meaningfully active. The lack of 2nd yellow was...

I literally just did by saying it was an improvement.

An improvement, and glad he got such a warm reception when coming off, but hard to really give too much credit until he starts scoring a few.

Badly, badly needed the 3 points today.
