I absolutely loved Lineker but the season after, when we won the Title, our top league goal scorer got 14 goals. If Lineker would have got injured for a significant period of time, Kendall would have just adapted, signed someone else and still pulled the same level of performance out of the team.

There’s no way of dressing this up or trying to sell it as “he’s a hard worker” etc, the lad is simply a crap footballer and will be taking up valuable squad space and wages. Zero end product and I can’t believe I am going to have to sit and watch him run into the first defender again and again...

What kind of logic is that? If he’s a starting centre forward for Everton, I’m expecting him to at least get on the pitch every once in a while and when he does maybe not flap constantly at one on ones with the keeper and maybe have a better goal record than 1 in 5.
