New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The “new” people we are sat next to probably will be feeling the same. Missing old friends, missing Goodison, unsure of their new surroundings and the new folk around them. I don’t think it will take long to form new friendships and create new memories. Today will be my first match in my new...

Same sentiments from me, want to wait until Brighton game to get the full match day experience rather than friendly or test event. My two lads did go and their feedback was similar to many others I’ve read on here, we have a super venue we can call home but it will take a bit of time to get used...

    2024/25 James Garner

Agree neither Garner or Gana had their best games last night but the three they were up against (plus Salah ofc) are a big reason that lot are top of the league. Against most teams Garner will more than hold his own.

Partnerships are important for CBs which is a reason why the Arsenal pair do so well. Just a thought if JB does leave, who he’ll play alongside could be the making of him.

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

Yes that’s a given, we all want the best for the club and our standards should be the highest of the high, I expect nothing less too. I’ll judge them on their actions. You’re getting a rough ride because you are making assumptions about their intentions and extrapolating that into loose language...

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

They’ve acquired an underperforming football club for a lot less than the value of its assets (brand new stadium and an average playing squad with a couple of diamonds) because Moshiri has taken a massive haircut. So for TFG the upside is potentially quite large. They’ve only been here a few...

He should improve with better coaching. He didn’t get that under Dyche, he looks no better than when we bought him 18 months ago. I’d hope he’d improve under Moyes, whether it’s enough to make him Prem quality I’m not sure.

Yes appreciate that Dave, just sharing my own view like other posters have done. Be interesting to know how many small shareholders feel as strongly as you do about it. Also it’s not necessarily a TFG thing - we could have been in a similar or even worse position in the hands of a different buyer.

We have three shares in the family, bought them back when they were around the £1,200 mark from Blankstone Sington so brokered probably on behalf of another blue selling up, no money would have gone into or out of the club. We’ve been able to go to agm’s and have had some access to extra tickets...

    2024/25 Orel Mangala

He’s not the only midfielder we have though. The three we are playing at the moment all make different contributions. In combination they tend not to get run past and I don’t think we have been sitting especially deep since Branthwaite came back, we play further up the field when he plays.

    2024/25 Orel Mangala

Mangala’s job wasn’t to tackle today, do that against City and you give away free kicks and you lose a body in midfield when they pass it around you. His job was to sit and block their passing lines and play it short when in possession. For me he did his job well. What my eyes saw and what the...

Front row of Upper Bullens the rain was blowing in, not heavy but could definitely feel it. Maybe depends on wind direction.

New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I understand what you are saying. For me, there is something about it making a statement about a new, different Everton for the future. Personally I think it achieves that, but I don’t know if it will be in the running for any architectural prizes
