    Rate Everton's Transfer Window

7.5, but rounded to 8 for positivity. Replaced every major outgoing with a better, younger, more reliable player and added lots of attacking quality. Could be better but having known how badly things can go if you just throw money at the problem with Moshiri, think the club have been incredibly...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I love how we imagine up the worst case scenarios and not only act like it will certainly happen, but also that multiple versions of it will happen. We are a PL squad without Europe, you realistically need 15 decent players you can rely on, that's it. There is absolutely no team in our position...

I'd also be curious if he'd look at a back 3 of Tarkowski, O'Brien and Branthwaite, then use wingbacks, which probably suits the squad a lot more. When fully fit we're fine, it's the depth and injuries that really could mess with that, as we're seeing now.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I'm in the middle a bit on it, but I get why, I think it's fair to say everyone likes Branthwaite, but other than him there's real question marks on the rest. I really like Tarkowski tbh, but he's had a bad start and others don't like him. Every other defender we have visually doesn't pass the...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

O'Brien was probably always planned as the starting right back. Outside of Tete at the start we've really not looked for one at all, and all the links seemed to be central defenders. Bit of noise when Patterson was set to go but get the impression it wasn't really an area we were ever properly...

    Confirmed Signing Merlin Rohl

    Berlin? He's not Swiss, Rohl?

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Looks like it'll be at least 2, and maybe up to 4 today. Very promising window for the rest of the season, but I'd doubt a starting RB comes today, Moyes clearly likes O'Brien and with Patterson not leaving, along with Coleman, he'll probably think it's fine. Not ideal at all, but do think so...

    2025/26 Jack Grealish

    Not bad

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Yeah but that's only because we have spent no money in half a decade? I'd have to look into it but I'd be fairly confident we'd have a bottom half PL record signing, there are easily 10 clubs that have bigger. I'm not basing it off of one game obviously, this is more of a Gareth Barry signing...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We have to get past this notion that £50m is some massive number these days, it's not. Madueke is a £50m player, Wolves just turned down £50m+ for a player today. It's not a big amount for a transfer anymore, fairly standard PL fee these days, which I know is mental.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Is it? We have negotiated the option for a reason, and ability wise he's obviously well ahead of everyone else in the squad. Assuming all things go well and his wages aren't an issue (given what's reported, they aren't and that's a reason he's here now) then it'd be a pretty fair thing to predict?

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I'm assuming that we'll be buying Grealish for probably £40m-£50m at the end of the loan.

Dibling, Grealish and Ndiaye, only around £90m collectively. Not bad value at all in this day and age. All going well, you make most of this back on selling Dibling in a few years anyways, and that's how a healthy club outside of the 6 have to operate.

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Soucek seems a no brainer really, for the right fee. Not a player we'll ever get a sale for of course, but a very solid player who'd have no problem playing well into 34/35. Him, Dibling and a right back would be decent business for us, try to fill loans elsewhere then.

Match Thread Everton 2-0 Brighton. Sun Aug 24th. 2pm

Fantastic result. Needs to be repeated we are missing 2 first choice full backs, first choice CB, second choice CM and Dibling from this squad. Not saying they'll be world beaters by any means, but we've built an effective squad here with a lot of flair too. First time since Martinez or Moyes'...

    Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

First post on here in a while and I must say, it's nice to have a positive and upward buzz around Everton for once in a long while. Certainly the most optimistic it's felt since COVID with Ancelotti, and this seems much more based in reality because of the tangibles we've built and are building...

New Everton Owners: The Friedkin Group

The Friedkin / Potter Era will be like the pen from Men In Black for this fanbase's collective trauma, champagne and caviar from now on lads the only way is up. (this club is hilarious though, in fairness)

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

As someone who didn't actually hate him, my god, his stubbornness is astounding. So much of this team's issues are down simply to him playing Keane and Young all the time. I'm not joking, had he played O'Brien and Dixon so far this year we'd have probably 9 points more, that's it and everyone...

    2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

More than happy to admit when I'm wrong. I was wrong on Dyche, gave him far too much credit. This is horrid.
