Wonder how many extra seats would be provided if the North stand was brought up to the same level? 2/3k?

A second fence, further back than the North stand boundary line, has been erected? Wonder if we’ve bought a bit more land? North stand expansion?

The South stand capacity is 14, 800. The Kop is 12, 400 I think?

That feeling is reciprocated to an extent. I did enjoy your post that time on how we should build a massive stadium and if it’s only filled to capacity occasionally, that’s not a problem. A brilliant financial mind at work 😂

It’s easy to sit there on your couch saying “this is how it should’ve been done” You haven’t the first clue what you’re talking about.

BMD while obviously nowhere near as structurally complex, is a much better stadium for football. As I think it’ll prove compared to Spurs stadium as well.

Considering the club was on the verge of going out of business as it was, how would we have paid the extra money for that?

The LED advertising boards in between the tiers of the North/East/West have started to be installed today. At least get rid of some of the grey concrete.

We still have no idea if they’re going to paint the super riser in the south stand the same shade of blue as the seats. It’d be so cheap to do and it would make a wild of difference to the aesthetic of the South stand. Hopefully be done when they put some white seating in (presuming they do)

That’s the excuse United used when they were made aware they would be rejected in favour of Citys gaff.

I know, that doesn’t mean it would have been picked ahead of BMD if it’s pitch was acceptable, though.

The Etihad was to be picked ahead of Old Trafford though despite being smaller with less corporate etc. For the same reasons BMD would always have been picked ahead of the dated Anfield….

Because the last seats are, by a distance, the most expensive seats to build (which is a fact - no matter what you say) and we’d be getting next to no return if we did what you’re saying. Who’s footing that bill? Do yourself a favour - never, ever start up your own business.

Just spoke to a mate who’s working on the job (floorlayer) who previously told me it was behind. “Loads to do but doable, might be going onto shifts to get it done” They’re now looking for Floorlayers and looking at the dates here, it’s gonna be all go right up to the start of the season...
