    I almost passed out today!

You make a great point. Brings back the old days when that pitch was REALLY rough and scuffed. Kinda sad they moved it from the Bubble, would've been a great atmosphere in such an intimate ground.

    I almost passed out today!

They played State of Origin at ANZ three days before the Sydney game and no-one got injured. I can't imagine the Etihad pitch being as bad as ANZ. I must admit, I'm shocked/stunned that my first Everton game was vs Sydney at the Olympic Stadium...

    Evertons future signings?

For now, anyway. He's a shark in a fishtank in the MLS: I think he knows he should leave, but Arena's a right knob and won't have a bar of it.

    New away kit....on Yahoo.co.uk

Mine have my surname on the back, I just think it's more personal - sets you apart from all the Aussies that have Cahill on theirs. Also, something I can give to my younger sister when she goes to games.

    Middlefield overflow

Watched Gueye against Sydney, he looks QUALITY. Got great touch, speed, linked up well and looked physical enough for a young lad to make it in the Prem. Baxter looked good too, couldn't see all that much as he only got 15 mins or something.

    Middlefield overflow

I agree. There's no such thing as too many (okay, there is, but no at the moment), only good competition for starting places. I think we're stocking up on options and building for the future with players like Rodwell and Fellaini (who's still only 22).

Turns 22 today. Happy birthday, lad. May his knees be strong and his aim true.
