Gomes doesn’t run and do enough. Just cannot lose the ball like that in cm.

I'd hoped that with Allan and Doucouré in the midfield alongside him then he could concentrate on his passing abilities and be the creative one.

But if you're not on the ball, you can't do that and that seems to be the problem. Gylfi could do the same job, so I would swap them sooner rather than later.
