You can see the progress. We are so much more solid when earlier in the season we'd concede from set pieces for fun.

It's almost as if players and staff need TIME and PATIENCE to adapt to NEW TACTICS.

Anyway to me this seems like the players are understanding and being more comfortable with their roles. And settling in to the league more (e.g. BErnard)

Which they certainly will and by next season everyone will have forgotten Brighton, Watford, Wolves cup runs. Unless you win it nobody cares about the cup.

Take away Pickfords brain fart day up in the North East it would have been 13 points from 15.
Definate signs he (& the players) are turning it round.

In some ways there’s a benefit to coming 7th and not getting Europe. If we end up there we’re clearly building

Europe gives you more money, attracts players, gives you another trophy to try win, can get you into the CL if you win it, has some fantastic away days for the fans.

Dont get the whole "we dont want europe" shouts we are a million miles off the top 4 at present and aint going from 9th to 4th in one season.
